What We Believe

For more than a decade, we have spent over 150,000 hours in the trenches of digital marketing. Like a soldier summoned from the front lines to report on the tide of battle, our time has convinced us that the Church can and must be on digital platforms to evangelize and heal the world.

We believe the digital landscape is only frightening, immoral, and frustrating because it is full of people who need God.

We believe that the institutional Church’s effective use of digital platforms, trends, and tools will invigorate the new evangelization and help restore relationships with God and others.

To use digital mediums effectively, we believe the Church must:

  • have an intimate understanding of the 7 Catholic personas.
  • turn its theology, teachings, and principles into stories that resonate with the pain, expectations, and confusion of our time.
  • take risks, go without losing itself into the most uncharted and hostile places, and entrust content creation, across its ever-changing forms, to the tastemakers God raises up.
  • build figurative “digital cathedrals”; thriving online communities where people can heal from vice and grow in virtue.

The great commission of Christ is to “make disciples of all nations” (Mt 28:19).

The world needs the Church.

Pope St. Paul VI said, “the Church ‘would feel guilty before the Lord’ if it failed to use the media for evangelization.” (Pontifical Council for Social Communications – The Church and Internet)

Pope St. John Paul II echoed the call, “no institution of the Church can avoid this supreme duty: to proclaim Christ to all peoples.” (Redemptoris Missio, 3)

Pope Leo XIV continues to urge us to “nourish Christian hope in social networks and online spaces…to the ends of the earth… where there is no hope.” (Address to Catholic Digital Missionaries and Influencers)

MISSION STATEMENT

Under the patronage of Our Lady Undoer of Knots, we exist to guide and serve the renewal of digital evangelization within the Church.

We are Yellow Line Digital and this is what we believe.

Our Prayer

Saint Maximilian Kolbe and Venerable Fulton Sheen, amid tumultuous times you witnessed great evil take hold of many hearts. Today, the same evil assaults the faith, the family, and the sanctity of life. In the battle for souls, please fight with us, as we, like you, utilize ever-advancing communication tools to publish the hope of God’s love and promote truth, beauty, and goodness. By your intercession and that of our Blessed Mother, may God strengthen our resolve to conform to His will and proclaim the Cross of Christ to a dark world thirsting for the light.

Amen.
